As the children promised below I have taken some photos during our Autumn break. There are perhaps not a lot of different “scenes” and that is because we spent the weeks break being sick…
The youngest members of the family got the worst of the ‘flu/cold but we’ve all had it in some way, so our activities were, unfortunately affected by this.
We did manage to get to the Copenhagen Zoo, which has a new elephant house and hippo house.
We had a lovely time celebrating a 1st Birthday over the weekend and getting out into our fantastic new back yard which has a number of different playing facilities. It is cold outside now and even when the sun is shinning you have to pack the children in. It is the first time they have been packed into these warm, one-piece “things” and they find it VERY difficult to get around with so much clothing on!! I suppose it must be a bit like if you dressed as the “Michelin Man” and tried to play soccer…
Dad’s back to work in the new week (19th) and Hamilton and Victoria back to day care and Randi’s back to the Yoga teacher thing…Back to normal just much colder.

From Victoria and Hamilton
Dad is on Autumn break this week and we are doing a lot of cool stuff, like yesterday we went to the zoo an’ saw all the real animals that we have toys of, like the Elephant, the Zebra and Giraffe and piggy and cow and….
Anyway, Mom said that we are going to go swimming (but the horrid lady said Dad couldn’t take photos there!!) and we are going to a birthday party on Saturday.
Dad takes a lot of photos to show Gran an’ Grandpa in South Africa and he said that he will put the photo’s on the blog after the whole week is finished and we have done all the cool stuff…So come and look here again after that….
O.K.
Bye!!!
Love Victoria and Hamilton

Twin Get-Together 04.10.09
After a long break with summer holidays getting between us, our "Twin Friends" found time to meet up.
Now that we have moved and have more space to entertain, we felt more than happy to house this "get together".
A light European brunch was served but the main attraction was just to chat and let the gang of children play together.
You will notice two things in the photo's which follow (bellow. Click on photo to enlarge.) The first is the mobility of our children. Instead of the immobile group of wriggling babies, this was a scurrying group of individuals running in six different directions.
The second thing is that it was the first time when all the Moms had the chance to just chat, as adults. There was a short time when all the children were alone in the nursery (except for the odd photo guy). This is a first and bears witness to the increasing independence of our children.
We had a lovely day, as usual and look forward to the next time which may very well be with a touch of Christmas in the air…

THE MOVE prt. 1
After a long wait and a large decrease in price, we have eventually sold Randi's lovely flat, which we have rather quickly out grown. It was also getting impossible to transport the children up and down to the 5th floor which is were the flat was!
So after all was planned; movers ordered; everything packed (see below) and a big group of good friends had committed themselves to help us, we were ready for the big day!
On the morning of Saturday the 12th of September we started the long trek from the top floor to the street level of Livjægergade. It is amazing how much STUFF we had stored up on the loft and in our flat!
But "many hands make light work" and a very very big T H A N K - Y O U must go out to all the wonderful people who gave of their time and energy (more energy than time, I think) to help us. We still owe you all a pizza ;-)
All our tuff friends were so effective that the movers couldn't keep up with us so they spent their time packing the truck. Well Done, folks!
The drive to our new and larger flat took all of 10 minutes...we moved just around the corner and down the next street, which is fantastic, as the children's day-care is very close to here and Warrens job is also close by.
Then the move INTO the new flat was a dream...it is on the FIRST floor!! YUUPPEEEE!!
After living in 1½ rooms before the 3 large rooms and large kitchen will give us a lot more freedom and space. The new flat has also got quite high ceilings which gives a feeling of more space, particularly in contrast to some of the low ceilings in the old flat.
Randi's flat was lovely and beautiful but after the birth of Victoria and Hamilton there was just not enough space. Now we move onto bigger better things with a bigger family.
Enjoy the photos which take you from a packed/moved chaos to the first glimpses of a functioning home.
There will be a couple more posts in the "THE MOVE" series, so you can follow in the developments.
