I have made this video to show how the flat is now that we've been here for a while.
The video is on You Tube and thus available for the WHOLE world to see and this worries some of us...
So I have decided to remove the video from You Tube again after a while.
So check it out now while it's still available.
Welcome to our flat and I hope this little tour will give you a feeling of how we live. Enjoy.

December Holidays 2009
”I’m dreaming of a white Christmas....”
The photos below are a compilation of the whole of our December holidays which where basically divided in this order:- pre-Christmas; Christmas eve and Day and then Randi’s Birthday and birthday dinner.
Pre-Christmas – This is an abnormally snowy winter in Europe and days before Christmas it had already snowed a lot. (a white Christmas in Copenhagen happens about once every 14 years!) The 1st photo is the view out from our back windows. It is so beautiful! This was taken at about 18:00.
Christmas Eve – was spent together with Randi’s brother and us. We had a lovely dinner and then spent the evening opening some presents (which the children loved doing!) and then we put the small people to bed and the big people had desert and looked at their presents. It was a lovely evening. This years Christmas tree should be noted. The ceiling in our new flat is very high up (about 3 meters) which gave us the possibility to get the biggest Christmas tree any of us have ever had. Measuring in at around 2.8 meters, it was a beauty! It is tradition to decorate the tree including real candles which gives a lovely warm light (and NO it is not dangerous – there are special holders and candles for the job.)
Randi’s Birthday – falls on the 26th December and this year (last year) she turned 40… (doesn’t look a day over 22) . With the increased space we now have, she had decided to invite some close friends. So we were a little group of good people who got together to celebrate Randi with champagne, sushi and good cheer! Congratulations Randi! (a note here – we are thinking about holding a larger gathering in the summer…will be in touch.)
Then there were a couple of days of peace and then on New Years Eve we were to be alone, just our little family at home, which proved to be a good thing, as Warren didn’t feel very well at all and ended up going to bed together with the children at about 19:00. He did get up to see the fireworks at midnight together with Randi and Hamilton(!) and wish Randi a Happy 6th (!) anniversary. But then he had to quickly retreat to bed again.
Finally I must explain the last 2 photos - the children are posed in front of a lovely "cross stitch" which Gran (from S.A.) made for them when they were born. It has finally been framed and now hangs proudly in the nursery for all to see. THANKS Gran!!!
Now it’s back to work and day-care and the normal routine.
