John and Laurel drop in...

John and Laurel found themselves in our neighbourhood and decided to spend a day with us.
It was strange to think that they would be here for such a short time.
They had informed us that this would be a Family visit with us and not to think about sightseeing of any kind.
I collected them from the Cruise Liner Quay and we drove home for brunch. Then we went for a walk to a nearby park and the kids had a short play there while the “grown-ups” chatted.
The kids have to be fed and in bed by about noon, so we headed home.

The whole family saw John and Laurel of on their “BIG Boat” – as Victoria puts it- and truly it was a very, very big boat! I think John said it had 10 floors, on which there are 12 restaurants, discos, bars, clubs, casinos, indoor pools (also for kids), theatres, etc.

Thank you so much for dropping in Uncle John and Aunty Laurel. We had a wonderful day.
And in the photos to follow you will all see that both John and Laurel have seemed not to have aged a bit!
