We are now seasoned travellers.
The four of us have returned from Cologne for the third time.
This time we were prepared for everything…well almost.
The only thing we couldn’t for see was the weather, and it was only the weather which was able to disrupt an otherwise smooth trip.
We left last Friday evening. On arrival at Copenhagen airport noticed that our flight was delayed by an hour. Once seated on the plane we were told that the delay
was due to very bad snow storms in Germany earlier in the day…
On the way home from Cologne on Sunday evening we were able to witness these weather conditions with huge snow flurries on the roads which made the taxi drive to Düsseldorf very slow.
We were delayed from take-off by 2 hours which were spent seated ON THE PLANE!!!
The twins were very well behaved during the whole episode, with only minor complaints.
After 7 hours of travel we were all glad to be home.
