New Year 2009 (and some Christmas)

New Years was celebrated in our flat with our friends Naja and William and their new family member, Thomas. I think we spent a total of 20 minutes seated at the table together, and that was all right. In fact, that was the whole idea. We took it nice and easy, ate some good food, (thanks to Naja) and then our guests left at 11-in time to make it home before the big midnight fire-works show which is always extravagant in Copenhagen. The children missed welcoming in their first New Year – they were asleep – fire works and all!!
